Kidest Fikremariam is senior program associate at the Klingenstein Center. In collaboration with the Center's team, she co-leads projects related to the administration, operations, and instructional design of the Center's graduate degree programs and fellowships. Before Klingenstein, Kidest served as an assistant language teacher in Japan, as part of the JET Program, and worked in the education non-profit and government sectors. She holds an Master of Arts in psychology and education, and a Bachelor of Arts in political science and East Asian languages and cultures from Columbia University, where she was a John W. Kluge Scholar. Outside of work, Kidest enjoys artistic skating, baking, and drawing -- but preferably not all at the same time.
