Dr. Clare Sisisky, the inaugural post-doctoral research fellow at the Klingenstein Center, is the executive director of the Global Education Benchmark Group, a nonprofit organization that supports 300+ member schools around the world in all aspects of global education. She has written and spoken widely on intercultural competence and global citizenship in K-12 education. Clare spent twenty years as a teacher and senior administrator at independent and public schools in the US and as an educator and researcher in Bangladesh, China, India, and Mauritius. She earned a master's degree from Harvard University and a doctorate in education from the University of Pennsylvania. Clare’s research as at the Klingenstein Center will focus on intercultural immersion learning and the ways that immersive learning and climate justice learning can intersect effectively in our schools.
