Join us for the Klingenstein Seminar at Thrive 2024, the NAIS Annual Conference. Led by Dr. Clare Sisisky, post-doctoral research fellow at the Klingenstein Center and director of the Global Education benchmark group, participants will learn how student anxiety, teacher motivation, and climate change are connected and highly relevant for our schools. A new Klingenstein Center research study, with over 70 participants from over 30 independent schools, details how educators are equipping and empowering their students for climate action in their curriculum. Learn about examples from across departments and grade levels through exploring case studies. Take back to your school a new competency-based framework for engaging students as citizens in the era of climate change and a deeper understanding of how to envision your school as climate-ready.
Register through the NAIS Conference Registration page for Thrive 2024 in St. Louis, MO. Note that the times for this seminar are local to the event.
