The resources of Columbia University and New York City are a remarkable benefit to Klingenstein Center students. In addition to studying at one of the finest schools of education in the world, you have the resources of this extraordinary city at your disposal.

Housing is available through Teachers College Summer/Conference Housing.
Klingenstein Reserved Housing Block
We have coordinated with the Office of Residential Services to arrange a reserved block of summer conference housing rooms for Klingenstein students this summer. These rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The reservations begin on June 16th. There are 10 private full rooms, with private bathrooms and kitchens that can accommodate two guests.
There are also 30 private twin rooms with private bathrooms that accommodate 1 guest have been reserved. These rooms must be reserved by May 1st at which point the charges will be transferred to you. Payment must be received for each reservation in full by the due date above or the reservations will be cancelled.

Additional TC On-Campus Housing
If the Klingenstein Block is full or doesn't meet your needs, you can also choose to reserve your room via the Summer Conference Housing Website that opens up on March 16th. The rates per room type and length of stay are available on the website. Please note that check-in begins at 3pm and check-out is at 10am. Guests must be a minimum of 18 years of age with valid government issued photo ID to check-in. Requests for late check-out will be reviewed based on availability. Guests interested in a late check-out should call 212-678-3235 at least one business day prior to their departure date.
International House is located at 500 Riverside Drive, just a few blocks from Teachers College. They are holding a block of 40 rooms for Klingenstein students. These rooms must be reserved by May 15th. The daily rate for rooms without a sink is $49.48 per day or $53.35 per day for the rooms with a sink. Everyone that stays at International House is required to sign up for the $8.00 per day dining plan but can upgrade to the $10 or $12 per day plan if they wish. There is an application fee as well as a deposit that is refundable provided all fees are paid and nothing is damaged.
