Erika Drezner chairs the Upper School English department, co-teaches American Studies, advises the literary magazine, and co-facilitates the White Anti-Racism Educators group at The Berkeley Carroll School in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. Her BA is from Carleton College and her MA from Middlebury’s Bread Loaf School of English. Having grown up among woods and streams in Ithaca, NY, she needs a few trees and some sky every day, and finds them by walking to work through Prospect Park and hiking outside the city on weekends with her husband and son. It’s possible that Storm King Art Center is her favorite place on Earth. She loves pedagogical collaboration and curriculum design and is delighted to be both one of the English lead teachers and one of the co-directors of the Klingenstein Summer Institute.
