The Klingenstein Center's graduate programs and fellowships employ cohort learning. Students take the majority of their courses together, learning with and from each other. Grounded in the idea that "cohort" is both a noun and a verb, the Klingenstein Center engages in deliberate community building to nurture collaborative learning. Alumni often cite the relationships and learning that grow in their cohorts as the most meaningful aspect of the program. Cohorts remain in touch, continuing to share their challenges and support each other long after their time at Teachers College ends.
